Wayne is the new owner and president of GCS. He is responsible for overseeing the operations, growth and vision of the company that was first started in 2001 as Gulf Coast Shutter.
Wayne is a veteran of the US Air Force with approximately 20 years of corporate and small business experiences. His last Air Force role was supporting the F-16 Program Office at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. An Ohio native, he holds an AAS Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati, BS Degree in Business from the University of Toledo and an MS Degree in Cost Analysis from the Air Force Institute of Technolgy (AFIT) at Wright-Patterson AFB. While at WPAFB, Wayne earned his designation as a Cost Estimator/Analyst. Since the Air Force, Wayne has had the opportunity to work for some very well known companies such as Unisys Corp, Rolls-Royce Corp and Crane Co. Over the years, he has gained a wide range of experience to include electronics technician, construction sales, business and cost management, logistics director, senior manufacturing manager and senior level management over business units. His last positions include roles as US Director of Naval Services for Rolls-Royce Corp out of Walpole, MA and as the site Business Director for a 210-person engineering and manufacturing site for Crane Co. in Fort Walton Beach.
Wayne and his wife, Jennifer have been married 22 years and live in Niceville, a place they want to remain and call home. It has been a dream for them to own and operate a highly professional company like GCS Building Solutions which will allow them now to focus efforts on providing great service and supporting the local communities through charities, chambers of commerce and civic organizations.
Wayne enjoys all types of outdoor activities and spending time with his family.

Jennifer is the vice-president of GCS Building Solutions.
Originally from Ohio, Jennifer attended Owens Technical College and the University of Toledo, received an EET degree, and then worked at Unisys Corporation in Holland, Ohio, as a Repair Development Test Engineer. After starting a family, she put her career on hold and became an active volunteer in her children’s schools. She also held part-time positions as a Laboratory Technician at AgriBusiness Group Labs in Indianapolis and as an Assistant to the String Orchestra Director at Whitinsville Christian School near Boston.Jennifer and Wayne live in Niceville and are active members of First Baptist Church of Niceville. Their older daughter Ashley attends Florida State University majoring in Physics and working as an undergraduate research assistant in the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. Their younger daughter, Kristen, attends Rocky Bayou Christian School where she plays the violin, is a starting varsity player in volleyball, basketball, & softball, and is taking college prep courses. The Bernheisel family loves the Destin area and recently became certified SCUBA divers.
Jennifer is excited to be a part of GCS Building Solutions and is looking forward to the contributions the business can make to the Gulf Coast area.

Dennis Guercio is a Senior Project Manager with Gulf Coast Shutter. In this role, Dennis is part of the GCS team providing the most up-to-date shutter and hurricane protection solutions on the market.
Before joining Gulf Coast Shutter in 2012, Dennis worked seven years in sales as an outside design project manager with Tyco/ADT International Securities, and within six years was ranked #1 in his department with over 6 million in sales. Dennis also has 8 years of experience as a custom home builder. His background in all aspects of commercial and residential design and construction provides the perfect foundation for helping GCS clients find what works best in a particular exterior opening application.
Dennis attended the University of Buffalo majoring in Marketing & Finance. He currently lives in Destin Florida with his fiancé. He has 4 children and two grandchildren.
Alan Van Epps

Alan Van Epps is a Senior Project Manager with GCS. In this role, Alan is part of a team providing the most up-to-date shutter solutions on the market.
Before joining Gulf Coast Shutter in 2005, Alan worked four years as a Construction Project Manager and also ran a remodeling company for three years. Alan’s background in all aspects of commercial and residential design and construction provided the perfect foundation for helping our clients find what works best in a particular application.
Alan has earned three sales awards during his time with Gulf Coast Shutter. Alan has been a Gulf Coast resident for over 20 years and lives in Niceville. He and his wife have four daughters, two grandchildren, and a Great Dane.

Lori is the Customer Service Manager for GCS. Lori joined the GCS team in August of 2010. Her key role is to be the liason between the team and the customer. She also provides marketing support, manages the website, and handles the social media networking. She recently received the GCS "Get R Done" Award for going the extra mile!
Lori brings several years of top-notch Customer Service to GCS from various avenues.

Teresa
Terry Parker is the Accounting Manager for GCS. Some of her responsibilities include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Collections. Terry is also responsible for entering and verifying purchase orders into Quick Books and entering data into ACT.
Terry began her career with GCS as a part time Office Coordinator then joined the team full time July 2008. Since being promoted to Accounting Manager, Terry has repeatedly been praised for her contributions to the improvement and success of the company.
Terry’s employment history includes five years with Appraisal Associates of NW Florida as the Office Manager. Prior to joining Appraisal Associates, Terry worked for AFLAC in Columbus, GA. She was with AFLAC for 17 years.
Terry and her husband, Danny, have been married for 14 years. They currently reside in Miramar Beach. They have two sons and one daughter.
Jon Parker

Jon Parker joined the GCS team in 2006 as the Installation Manager. His responsibilities include taking final measurements for shutters, overseeing all installation functions and troubleshooting problems with shutters.
Since then, Jon has received the Presidents Award for exceptional work. He completed the course and received certification for FLASH (Florida Alliance for Safe Homes.) Jon also completed the Leadership Okaloosa training course.
Jon has worked in the construction industry for 25 years. Prior to entering the construction industry, Jon worked in the lumber industry.
Jon resides in Mary Esther, Florida with his wife Sheila.
Arnoldo Gutierrez
Installation Specialist
Arnoldo is an Installation Specialist for GCS. Arnoldo’s responsibilities include installing shutters, garage doors and retractable screens as well as troubleshooting problems and the maintenance of each of these products. Arnoldo joined GCS in May 2006.
Arnoldo is originally from Honduras, but has lived in Florida for 17 years. Arnoldo resides in Gulf Breeze, FL. with his wife Jeane. They have two children.
Dewaine Larsen
Service Manager
Dewaine is a Service Manager for GCS. His responsibilities include installing garage doors, garage door openers, commercial doors, and retractable screens as well as troubleshooting problems and the maintenance of each of these products. Dewaine brought to the team over 30 years of experience before joining GCS in 2011.
Dewaine has been with his wife, Trina, for 26 years. They have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Dewaine & his wife reside in Crestview, FL.
Rulon joined the GCS team in 2006 as an Installation Specialist at GCS. Rulon’s responsibilities include installing shutters, garage doors and retractable screens as well as troubleshooting problems and the maintenance of each of these products.
Rulon is orginally from Arizona and resides in Niceville.
